Boyne City and Charlevoix High Schools

Charlevoix Middle and High School enrolls more than 500 students in grades 7-12. The school offers a number of extracurricular activities, including athletics, robotics, and Model UN. Their student-teacher ratio is 21:1, and the school's mascot is the Charlevoix Rayders. 

Situated between Lake Michigan and Lake Charlevoix, Charlevoix is known for its outdoor waterfront activities and summer tourism. The city is home to about 2,500 residents.

On the southwest side of Lake Charlevoix, Boyne City High School enrolls nearly 400 students in grades 8-12. In addition to various programs in athletics and the arts, the school provides a number of activities to help build community among students, such as exam study nights and volunteer opportunities. Boyne City High School’s student-teacher ratio is 18:1, and their mascot is the Boyne City Ramblers.

Boyne City, Michigan is located in Charlevoix County and is home to nearly 4,000 residents. In addition to waterfront activities on Lake Charlevoix, it is known for its winter outdoor sports, local shops, and a small-town feel.

Advisers' favorite place in the community is to sit by the lake and watch the sunset - both Boyne City and Charlevoix have lakefront views, and Petoskey is known for its "million dollar sunsets."
