I chose to be a part of MSUCAC because they prioritize students who may not otherwise have access to college guidance. Reflecting on my own experience, I understand the value of having support in navigating college affordability and exploring career paths aligned with one's passions. The program's mission to remove barriers to post-secondary education aligns with my belief that every student deserves individualized support and encouragement. Through MSUCAC, I have been able to make a meaningful impact while continuing to grow professionally through training, mentorship, and a supportive community of advisers who share the same mission.
Hello, my name is Lindsey and I am a College Adviser at Memphis Jr/Sr High School. Prior to this role, I worked as a Behavior Technician at MSU ELI. I am currently a graduate student at Oakland University pursuing a Master of Arts in Counseling, and I aspire to become a School Counselor after my time with MSUCAC. I am very passionate about supporting students as they turn their goals into achievable next steps.
