I chose to be a part of MSUCAC because I know the road to college can be a struggle. After high school graduation, I had no idea what I wanted to do, where I wanted to go and most of all, how I was going to pay for my college education. I was extremely lucky to have a MSUCAC college adviser my senior year who helped me research scholarships, apply to colleges, and file my FAFSA. I wanted to be able to extend that same opportunity to other students in the community I grew up in so they have the support they deserve in their post-secondary journey.
I am a first year adviser serving the high school I graduated from. I started my college journey at Muskegon Community College and then transferred to Grand Valley State University to pursue my bachelors. After college, I did a 4-month internship through the Disney College Program in Orlando, Florida where I worked at Walt Disney World!
Fun Fact: I can play the Saxophone!
