With about 200 students per grade level, the Lake Shore College Adviser can impact on a wide array of students from various backgrounds. Lake Shore prides itself on caring about the whole student, including social/emotional health, and that doesn't stop with the school - the community recently passed a huge bond that will allow large-scale high school renovations starting in 2023.
Just 20 miles north of Detroit, St. Clair Shores is known for their location on Lake St. Clair, known as the "Heart of the Great Lakes." A fun fact about St. Clair Shores is that they have a business district called the Nautical Mile - a mile-long nautical-themed streetscape featuring restaurants, shops, marinas, and more. The school mascot is the Shorians! (Which, if you're wondering, is a Lake Viking).
