"After hearing about this position, she knew supporting fellow first generation students as they transitioned out of high school was a great opportunity. One of my goals this year is to inform and empower students in their decisions about post-secondary education."
Studying Community Engagement and Leadership fuels her passion surrounding Youth Participatory Action Research and working with high schoolers. As a crafty person, she loves graphic design, and cross stitching. They're looking forward to continuing their own education after this program.
Fun Fact: She loves to sew, and their favorite thing to make are quilts!
Ava graduated from MSU in December 2023.
