"I graduated from high school and was unsure what I wanted to study. I graduated from college and was still trying to figure out what I wanted to do. It's frustrating being so young and being forced to figure out what you want to do for the rest of your life. On top of that, you're paying thousands of dollars for a degree you hope you'll use. I want to help kids learn what they're interested in or passionate about so they have a clear path ahead. I also want to help them save as much money as possible along the way. So many jobs need degrees nowadays & some kids don't apply to college because the process seems confusing or because they don't think they can afford it. I want to help make the process easier and provide resources on why college is an investment but is still worth it."
After high school, I decided to start my college journey at a community college. I wanted to save some money and stay close to home. I worked full-time and did online classes. I then transferred to GVSU where I finished my bachelor's in Psychology.
Fun Fact: I can fix glasses.
Mayzie graduated from GVSU in 2024.
