"Without the counseling of my College Adviser, I never would have made the connections to MSU needed for me to succeed."
Regina's number one professional goal is to improve equity in education, particularly in Michigan. With experience teaching in urban schools, Regina know firsthand how critical it is to connect students with resources to help them access post-secondary education. Regina also had a College Adviser during her own high school experience, so she truly understands the impact Advisers can have on students' lives. She hopes to pursue a doctoral degree in educational leadership, policy, and curriculum, so her time as a College Adviser will provide a unique lens into the K-12 experience.
Fun Fact: Regina has met the past three presidents in person.
Regina is from Flint, Michigan, and graduated in December 2022.
