"I graduated early from MSU, and I wanted to find an opportunity to have more time to figure out what I want to do, whether pursue a Masters degree or join the working world. I went to the school that I am serving at, and had College Advisers, I could see the impact they had on students. I had friends that were first generation college students and I saw how it wasn't that they didn't want to go to college, it was that they didn't know how to get there. I am excited to be that resource for current students in the West Ottawa community."
I am from Holland, Michigan. I enjoy cooking/baking and doing different crafts when I have the time. I've had a lot of different working experiences, in college, I was an Undergraduate Research Assistant and an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant, I was also a Customer Service and Billing intern one summer. I currently volunteer at a museum in Holland and help with their artifact management and website/social media maintenance.
Fun Fact: I am a certified scuba diver.
Taya graduated from MSU in 2024.
