As the state's capital city, Lansing is an important hub for governmental, cultural, commercial, and industrial functions. The city is home to more than 116,000 residents. An adviser favorite in the community is Hawk Island Park - walking, swimming, and using the paddle boats is a must during the warmer months. Advisers also love the river trail and the taco trucks around town - the food is authentic and delicious - and local coffee shops such as Blue Owl and Strange Matter.
