Kearsley High School

Flint, MI

Kearsley High School is situated on the northwest side of Flint, MI, with its district comprising portions of Genesee Township, Burton, and Davison Township. In that regard, the school is truly the touchstone of the community for students and families, since they're not all from one specific town. The school enrolls approximately 1000 students, and they maintain one of the lowest administrator-to-student ratios in the county. Their mascot is the hornet.

Flint, Michigan is home to nearly 96,000 residents. The city is the largest in Genesee County and home to Kettering University, Mott Community College, and the University of Michigan-Flint. The Flint Institute of Arts hosts a well-known annual Art Fair, and the indoor farmers market in downtown Flint is a local favorite. It is ranked the 7th best farmers market in the country by USA Today! The farmers market has more than food, including a sustainable jeweler, art gallery, plant shop, and homemade candle booth.

Other Adviser favorites include Penny's Cafe, Beirut Restaurant, and Middle Eastern Market.
